Rania of Jordan, known for her impeccable style, has once again shined in Paris.
The queen, who has been considered a fashion icon for years, has in her closet pieces from the most prestigious international fashion houses.
Among her favorite designers is Elie Saab, who elegantly dressed her for her son Hussein’s wedding dinner with Rajwa al Saif.
Now, the Queen of Jordan has once again turned to the Lebanese firm for an event high on her international agenda: a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte, in Paris.
Queen Rania in green shirt dress by Elie Saab
President Macron and First Lady Brigitte welcomed Rania and King Abdullah at the Elysée Palace, where they hosted a lunch in their honor.
For this occasion, the Hashemite queen debuted an elegant green dress by Elie Saab.
This shirt dress, with short sleeves and midi length, features front pockets and a striking wave print in different shades of green.
Rania completed her outfit with a scarf of the same fabric around her neck, adding a glamorous touch to her look.
She also paired the dress with elegant white shoes from Dior and a green handbag slung over her shoulder.
As always, her inseparable Apple Watch was present, an accessory she never separates from.
The close relationship between the Hashemite monarchs and the Macron’s was evident during the meeting.
Brigitte Macron, true to her sophisticated style, opted for a white Louis Vuitton ensemble consisting of a mini skirt and a fitted double-breasted jacket.
The King and Queen of Jordan are going through a very special personal moment. They recently celebrated 20 years on the throne, and in July, they are expecting the arrival of their first grandchild.
Princess Rajwa and Prince Hussein, heir to the throne, will become parents for the first time in a few weeks. However, it is still unknown whether this baby will be the future king, as it will depend on whether it is a boy or a girl.
In Jordan, as in most Arab monarchies, the Salic law, which prevents women from ascending to the throne in their own right, is in force. Therefore, this baby will only be able to reign if he is a boy.
If it is a girl, she will become a princess, but will not be in the line of succession to the Hashemite throne.
As is tradition, the sex of the baby will not be revealed until its birth.
