Queen Rania of Jordan has always been a style icon, but her recent appearance at the Jordan International Food Fest in Amman was especially significant.
Just a week after becoming a grandmother for the first time, Rania returned to her official duties, this time accompanied by her sister Dina Yassin, a little-known figure in the royal entourage.
Rania’s little-known sister
Dina’s presence at the event drew attention, as Queen Rania usually protects the privacy of her Palestinian-born family, making her public appearances very rare.
On this occasion, Dina, discreetly dressed in a flowered shirt, walked a few steps behind Rania, letting her sister take center stage.
Dina Yassin is three years older than the queen and, although she does not hold an official position, she works closely with Rania on various projects.

She is known to have been married twice, first to her original husband and then to Ali Sharif Zubi, a former Jordanian minister and prominent lawyer in the country.
Despite her closeness to the queen, Dina stays away from the media spotlight, making each of her appearances a rarity.

For this special event, Rania opted for a casual yet elegant look that did not go unnoticed. She paired a black short-sleeved oversize style T-shirt, designed by the small Lebanese firm Salim Azzam, with beige cargo pants by Isabel Marant, made of cotton and hemp.
The shirt bore an embroidered message in metallic pink that read “Endless Dreams”.
She completed her outfit with black fishnet and suede heeled pumps from Dior and a black and beige Elena Ghisellini clutch.
