Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia are preparing to meet in Madrid this Christmas after going their separate ways this year.
2023 has been an important year for the two daughters of King Felipe and Queen Letizia.
Leonor began her military training in Zaragoza and will spend two years there as part of her preparation to become the future queen.
Sofia, for her part, entered the prestigious British school UWC Atlantic College in Wales, where her sister spent two years.
Reunion of Princess Leonor and Sofía
After the last months of the year and a busy October, the two young ladies will meet at the Zarzuela Palace to spend Christmas with their parents.
According to the UWC Atlantic College school calendar, the Christmas break begins this Friday, December 8th, so Sofia will be the first to return home.
Princess Leonor, on the other hand, will begin her exams at the Zaragoza Military Academy on December 7, but will have the weekends off to be with her family.
It is likely that she will receive special permission to spend Christmas and New Year’s Eve with her parents, as provided for in the rules of the Military Academy.
After all, he has used these special leaves to attend monarchy events that are not part of his military training.
