Rose Hanbury’s name has been in the news for months because of her alleged relationship with Prince William.
But now her name is making headlines again, this time because of a strange situation she is living in at her home, Houghton Hall.
When it was not yet known what was wrong with Kate Middleton’s health, all the rumors pointed to an alleged infidelity of Prince William with Rose Hanbury.
Everything was said about the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. Her life became of international interest, there was talk about her relationship with William, about her husband, David Rocksavage, seventh Marquess of Cholmondeley.
There was even speculation that one of her three children, little Iris Marina, was Prince William’s daughter.
Everything was put on hold when the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, tired of so many conspiracy theories, stepped forward and revealed to the world that she had cancer.
The news had such an impact that any reference to Rose Hanbury and her alleged affair with William was immediately silenced.
In recent days, however, Rose has become the protagonist of the headlines because, although she did not have an affair with William, she is also a member of the English royal family.
Married to David Rocksavage, 23 years her senior, Hanbury is the Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
The aristocratic couple resides in the luxurious Houghton Hall Palace in Norfolk, where she has been living in a strange situation for the past few days.
What has happened to Rose Hanbury at home?
For the past few days, a series of figures have appeared in the gardens of her impressive home, Houghton Hall Palace in Norfolk.
Specifically, they are huge metal statues of completely naked men and women.
So why are these statues there? The metal figures are part of a 2024 art installation by artist Sir Antony Gormley and will be on display from April 21 to October 31, the Daily Mail reports.
“The 6ft-tall figures – complete with metal genitals on display – have been embedded into the ground as part of Angel of the North artist Sir Antony Gormley’s exhibition Time Horizon”.
Considering the centuries-old history of the property and the novelty of the art installation, the British press claims that Rose was not too keen on having figures all over the garden, let alone drilling holes in the lawn to install them.
The Marquise will have to get used to the fact that the controversial nude figures will be part of the landscape for the next few months.
According to an anonymous source who spoke to the Daily Mail, Rose admitted to being a little apprehensive about the outdoor display.
Despite the fact that the Marquise is not very happy with the particular figures surrounding her property,
In truth, she is no stranger to hosting art exhibitions on the grounds of Houghton Hall. The couple has hosted several local and international artists over the years.
