It has been a busy few days for the British royal family, as almost all members of the monarchy made an appearance at Ascot 2023 on Tuesday, June 20th.
This is the first Ascot held by the Windsors without Queen Elizabeth II, who passed away on September 8th, 2022.
Ascot, dedicated to thoroughbred horse racing, is considered one of the most prominent events in British high society. This year, it is taking place from June 20th to 24th.
Several notable women from the British royal family didn’t want to miss the first day of Ascot and attended in striking ensembles.
Royal Ascot 2023
King Charles III and Queen Camilla led the event, embarking on the journey for the first time as the King and Queen of England.
Camilla opted for a coordinated dress with a coat for this annual sporting event in Berkshire, which was a favorite of Elizabeth II, a devoted horse lover.
The monarchs were accompanied by other family members, including Princess Anne and Princess Beatrice with her husband, Edoardo Mapelli.
Zara, the daughter of Princess Anne, and her husband Mike Tindall, also graced the venue with their presence.

Peter Phillips and his girlfriend, Lindsay Wallace, were also in attendance at Ascot, just a few weeks after attending the Coronation Concert together.
