With the countdown underway for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, some of the representatives of the world’s most important royal houses who will attend the opening ceremony are already known.

This upcoming Friday, July 26, the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place, an event that, in addition to hosting the best athletes in the world, will also bring together several members of European royalty.

Among the royals confirmed for the inaugural event are the King and Queen of Spain, Felipe VI and Letizia Ortiz, who will be accompanied by their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía.

The presence of the monarchs of the Netherlands, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima, is also expected, as they will support the Dutch delegation along with their daughters, Princesses Amalia and Alexia.

Representing the Windsors will be Princess Anne, who has been in Paris since Tuesday, July 23.

For her, the Olympic Games hold a special place, as she was the first member of the British royal family to compete in the Olympics, specifically in Montreal 1976, and she is also a member of the International Olympic Committee.

Additionally, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden were among the first to announce their attendance at the Paris Olympics.
