Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor By Lillian Torres

Do Lilibet and Archie have royal titles? They call Harry and Meghan’s daughter “princess”

Details about the christening of Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor have revealed that the little girl and her older brother, Archie, would already have royal titles.

Recall that, although the Sussexes have given up their work for the British monarchy, by law the grandchildren of the monarch receive the royal title of “prince” or “princess”, this according to the rule established by King George V in 1917.

The suspicion that Meghan and Harry’s children already have their royal titles increased when a spokesman for the couple revealed details about Lilibet’s christening, held last March 3 in California.

“I can confirm that Princess Lilibet was christened on Friday, March 3 by the Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Rev John Taylor,” said the source consulted.

The fact that the Sussexes directly call her princess can be considered a new provocation to the monarch, who maintains an open war with the couple.

Until now, King Charles III has not ruled on whether or not Prince Harry’s children can use that title. On the royal family website Archie, 3, and Lili, 1, is listed as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.”
