Prince Harry is not the only member of the British royal family to have written a book. His aunt, Sarah Ferguson, was actually the first, achieving bestseller status in 2021 with her first novel.
Now, three years later, she is back with a new fictional story set in Scotland.
She herself has shared that she is a lover of history and believes there is much to learn from it.
Although her book has already been released in the U.S., she is currently promoting it in the U.K. as it hits bookstores.
The Duchess of York, through her social media posts, expresses how exciting this period is for her.
She combines her literary passion with her commitment to various social causes, many of them focused on the fight against cancer, a disease she was diagnosed with for the second time in January 2023.
These efforts keep her agenda full of events and activities.

Interestingly, in many of these events she has been seen wearing a black studded blazer from the Spanish brand ‘The Extreme Collection’, a piece also popularized by the well-known model Nieves Alvarez.
Sarah wore this blazer for the first time for the promotional photos of her next book. She surprised everyone by wearing the same blazer days later when she visited ‘The Kirkwood Foundation’ in Dalton, an organization that supports terminally ill adults.
On both occasions, she combined the blazer with skirts: a long silk one and a short one. For the first look, she chose a striped shirt, and for the second, a black T-shirt.
This is not the first time she has chosen this brand. Last year she wore a two-color blazer called ‘Diana’, belonging to a capsule collection of the firm in collaboration with Pelayo Diaz.
Sarah Ferguson is not the only royal fond of Spanish fashion; Kate Middleton is a regular customer of the designer Amaia Arrieta, who creates children’s clothing for George, Charlotte and Louis.
Sarah’s life is a mix of literary achievement, a strong fashion sense and a sincere commitment to charity, especially in the fight against cancer.
