News of the tragic death of Sarah Ferguson’s assistant has left Prince Andrew’s ex-wife distraught.
According to the Daily Mail, Fergie’s assistant, who worked with the royal family, was found lifeless at her home in Dallas, Texas, on September 25.

The Duchess’s assistant was identified as Jenean Chapman, a 46-year-old woman who had lived in the city of Dallas for less than five months.
Fergie described Chapman as a loyal, hardworking, beautiful and funny person, and promised to help her family with funeral expenses if they wished.
Although the details surrounding Chapman’s murder are still unclear, James Patrick, 48, has been arrested in connection with the crime. He is currently being held without bail.
The Daily Mail mentions that Chapman went to work for the Duchess of York after graduating from Syracuse University.
From 2001 to 2005, Chapman performed a variety of functions for Sarah Ferguson, from handling her press and publicity to organizing her daily schedule.
