The recent trip of King Charles III and Queen Camilla to Australia has been marked by a series of setbacks that have generated concern among both the royal entourage and the public.

This royal tour, which includes a visit to Samoa, is part of the King’s participation in a summit of Commonwealth countries, where Australia and Samoa are protagonists.

This trip is of special significance, as it is the first major one since the King was diagnosed with cancer. For this reason, every detail of the itinerary has been meticulously planned.

The royal couple landed in Australia on Friday, October 18, and their visit is scheduled to conclude on October 26.

However, concerns about the monarch’s health have been compounded by the controversy generated by Simon Charles Dorante Day, the alleged son of King Charles.

Who Is Simon Charles Dorante Day, the Son of King Charles?

Simon Charles Dorante Day is a 58-year-old Briton living in Australia who has claimed for years to be the illegitimate son of King Charles.

Dorante Day maintains that his existence is the result of a family secret and that his biological mother would be Camilla, although these claims are unsubstantiated in the official biographies of the royal family.

Born in Portsmouth on April 5, 1966, and given up for adoption eight months later, Dorante Day has attempted to claim his supposed inheritance, going so far as to request DNA tests that would confirm his parentage to the royal family.

Simon was supposedly born when Charles was 16, and he claims that it was his adoptive grandmother, who had worked for Queen Elizabeth II, who suggested the adoption solution for the baby.

The British Royal Family has ignored his insistent requests, leading to palpable frustration.

Despite the lack of solid evidence to support his narrative, Dorante Day continues to seek media attention and has amassed a following of supporters who back his cause.

The details of his birth are unclear, and there are no records from the hospital where he is said to have been born, but none of this is enough to lend any credibility to the story he tells.

Despite this, he has stated that he underwent cosmetic operations in his childhood to remove any resemblance to members of the royal family, claiming that he even changed the color of his eyes and modified his smile.

He has also revealed that he sent letters to Queen Elizabeth II, signing himself as “her first-born grandson,” seeking recognition.

Since his story broke in 2017, Dorante Day has maintained a constant presence in the media, which has generated concern in the entourage of King Charles III.

Authorities have been keeping a close eye on his movements, especially after statements in which he hinted that he might have plans during the royal visit to Australia. This led to increased security measures to protect the royal couple.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla ended their trip to Australia on October 22, with the monarch’s health being the main concern during their stay.

Despite the challenges and controversies that have surrounded this visit, the royal couple have continued with their schedule, facing setbacks with determination and care.
