Sophie, Countess of Wessex, has surprised many with her skill in handling weapons, a facet that few or almost no one knew.
The wife of Prince Edward has participated in the new edition of the Countess of Wessex Cup in Gibraltar Barracks, an event whit different activities and has been held in the town of Camberley.

The one who was known as the favorite daughter-in-law of Queen Elizabeth II appeared dressed in a camouflage jacket and green pants, a military look. The Countess of Wessex also wore her hair up, safety goggles and a helmet for protection.
During the activity Sophie, 58, has joined some participating soldiers and has demonstrated her skills practicing skeet shooting. In the images of the event she can be seen very concentrated on the shooting range or preparing to improve her own mark.
Sophie of Wessex holds some honorary military titles. She is Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Music Corps, Colonel-in-Chief of the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps and Colonel-in-Chief of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment.
