The Spanish Royal Family shone once again at one of the most anticipated events of the year: the Princess of Asturias Awards Concert.
King Felipe, Queen Letizia and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, made their long-awaited joint appearance at the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium in Oviedo, showing a closeness and complicity that did not go unnoticed.
It is worth mentioning that they had not been seen together in an official act since August, which generated great expectation among the attendees and the media.
The Spanish Royal Family At The Princess of Asturias Awards Concert
The royal family presided over the 32nd Princess of Asturias Awards Concert, an event dedicated to symphonic music, which in this edition was entitled “Soundscapes of America”.
The prestigious recital was given by the Principality of Asturias Symphony Orchestra, accompanied by the Foundation’s Choir, offering a night of culture that was applauded by those present.
These days will be full of commitments for the King and Queen and their daughters, who are fully immersed in the activities surrounding the Princess of Asturias Awards.
In total, there are three intense days in which the royal family will tour some of the most emblematic places of the Principality.
Princess Leonor, who in the morning had been named Honorary Mayor of Oviedo and received the Medal of Asturias, continued with her busy schedule and joined her parents and sister to enjoy the concert. This event, besides being a tradition, highlights the strong support of the King and Queen to culture.
The big day of the Awards will come this Friday, October 25, when the King and Queen will receive the award winners in audience at the Reconquista Hotel. Leonor and Sofia will also join this meeting, who will share with the winners in one of the first appointments of the day.
After a brief lunch, the royal family, together with Queen Sofia, will go to the iconic Campoamor Theater, where everything will be ready for the main ceremony.
At 6:30 p.m. the Princess of Asturias Awards gala will begin, a perfect opportunity to see Queen Letizia and her daughters display their elegance and style to the world.
