The detail of Princess Leonor’s teeth
Being the first time in two years that Princess Leonor is seen without a mask, it was more than certain that her face was going to be examined in detail, one of the changes that attracted the most attention has to do with her smile and is that the daughter of Queen Letizia and King Felipe looked something revealing.
Specifically, there are noticeable spaces between their teeth. According to dental experts, this is due to the fact that “there are occasions in which when the definitive fangs are poorly positioned in the palate area, or quite high up, or in a bad angulation, they do not come out”, explained the doctors to the newspaper Lecturas.
“The baby teeth didn’t fall out and stayed in longer. What is usually done then is to prepare with orthodontics the space for the definitive fangs, and when the time comes, a small surgery is performed and the milk fangs are removed. Then the space is opened to place the bracket to pull the permanent fangs, which are poorly positioned, to the right place”.
They clarify that in previous images of the princess it is observed that her fangs were very small, so the theory that they did not fall out when they should seem to be the correct one. True or not, the princess enjoyed the event and did not stop smiling, although she was nervous for a few moments.
