Queen Letizia, her daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, along with Queen Emeritus Sofia, surprised everyone with an unexpected appearance in Mallorca’s Plaza Mayor.
The four ladies of Spanish royalty were out to enjoy the day on the Balearic island. King Felipe was not present, as he is in Paris supporting the Spanish athletes at the Olympic Games.

The outing did not go unnoticed. The royal family visited the local street market, a summer tradition they follow every year.
Letizia, always impeccable, opted for a long flared skirt in shades of pink by Babbaki, a choice that combined perfectly with the warm Mallorcan weather.
During their tour, they went to the store of Jaime Anglada, a Mallorcan singer-songwriter and close friend of the King and Queen, since the days when they were Princes of Asturias, Letizia and Felipe.
As for the outfits, Princess Leonor stood out with a strapless top and a lilac raffia braided bag by Sézane, the same one she had worn at last Sunday’s dinner.
Infanta Sofia opted for a white skirt and black top, while Queen Sofia combined white pants with a blue blouse.
The Infanta also carried an envelope handbag by Feel Mallorca, designed by Joana Borrás and made of pink Talaia fabric by Teixits Riera.
One of the most talked about anecdotes of the outing was seeing Princess Leonor driving a gray car, a moment that caught the attention of those present in the area.
Queen Sofia has chosen for her walk around Mallorca a loose blouse in navy blue, white pants and espadrilles to match the blouse.
Her relaxed style was complemented by her handbag and her inseparable necklaces have put another touch of the most relaxed styling.
Something that attracted a lot of attention was that she had her cell phone hanging.
Queen Sofia is expected to travel to Paris on Thursday to support Spanish athletes at the Olympic Games and attend the closing ceremony on Sunday.
