The cast of the hit legal drama ‘Suits’ reunited on the red carpet of the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday night, but there was one notable absence: Meghan Markle.
As Meghan takes one step forward and one step back in the world of Hollywood, her former co-stars were asked about Meghan’s lack of participation in the reunion and had a simple explanation.
Suits Reunion: Meghan Markle at the Golden Globes
When asked on the red carpet why Meghan Markle didn’t join the Suits cast reunion, Gina Torres who played Jessica Pearson on the show, said “We don’t have her number.”
She explained further that the cast doesn’t have Meghan’s contact information to reach out with an invitation to attend.
Patrick J. Adams, who played Meghan’s on-screen love interest Mike Ross, also praised the Duchess’ acting talents, saying “Meghan is a fantastic actress so we’d be lucky to have her back in the industry.”
He even suggested he’d be open to a Suits reboot or spin-off with Meghan, joking about “Mike and Rachel in Seattle.”
While creator Aaron Korsh denied any plans in the works for a Suits revival, fans continue to hold out hope that Meghan may one day reprise her breakout role as Rachel Zane.
However, focused on philanthropy and raising her two young children with Prince Harry, Meghan’s return to acting seems unlikely in the near future.
Many experts have predicted Meghan Markle’s return to television this 2024.
For now, her former co-stars are relishing the Suits reunion without the show’s most famous alum.
They may not have Meghan on speed dial anymore, but her legacy lives on through 7 seasons playing the fan-favorite character that launched her career.
