Netflix’s hit series The Crown, which chronicles the lives of British royals, already has an ending. The production will run through season six and will end in a controversial event.
While the fifth season of ‘The Crown’ ended just weeks before the death of Princess Diana, the sixth season will show another of the important moments for the royal family.
The Crown’s final season
According to the filmmakers, the historical drama that has always reflected some controversy during the seven decades of Elizabeth II’s reign will end at the wedding of Charles and Camilla, so publishes the Daily Mail.
Scenes recreating the event are scheduled to be filmed this week at York Minster, which will be used instead of St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, where the real wedding took place in 2005.
Actors Dominic West, 53, and Olivia Williams, 54, who play the kings, will shoot inside York Minster for two days this week. Other actors who play various members of the royal family in the series are also expected to be present.
Alternating scenes in the past and in the future, this latest season will also pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, with several flashbacks to when she was a child and teenager.

The British newspaper claims that the nuptials of the current royals will be portrayed in a positive light so that loyal fans will be left with a “warm and happy” feeling rather than outraged at how Princess Diana’s death at the age of 36 was portrayed.
