Prince William‘s wife wore a spectacular red coat that was reminiscent of one worn by her mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

For the opening of the exhibition, the Duchess premiered the Alexander McQueen signature piece that will surely have more prominence in her next appearances and events.
The floor-length red coat, with black heels and a small black handbag, was compared to the Catherine Walker that Diana wore on a visit to Birmingham in 1984. The version that Lady Di wore had more black details around the neck and completed the look. look with a red hat with a black feather sprouting.
The Duchess of Cambrige’s gown was in a vibrant shade of red, a classic-shaped design with lapels, double-breasted, and ankle length. Underneath she wore a white top and a black pleated skirt to match the bag. Gianvito Rossi black suede pumps with wide heels.
