Kate Middleton’s visit to the Hold Still photographic exhibition left a pleasant surprise for the look that the Duchess of Cambridge wore.
Prince William‘s wife wore a spectacular red coat that was reminiscent of one worn by her mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

For the opening of the exhibition, the Duchess premiered the Alexander McQueen signature piece that will surely have more prominence in her next appearances and events.
The floor-length red coat, with black heels and a small black handbag, was compared to the Catherine Walker that Diana wore on a visit to Birmingham in 1984. The version that Lady Di wore had more black details around the neck and completed the look. look with a red hat with a black feather sprouting.
The Duchess of Cambrige’s gown was in a vibrant shade of red, a classic-shaped design with lapels, double-breasted, and ankle length. Underneath she wore a white top and a black pleated skirt to match the bag. Gianvito Rossi black suede pumps with wide heels.
Kate, premiered for the project launch event in which she worked for most of the confinement alongside the National Portrait Gallery.
