When the Christmas holidays approach, curiosity always arises about the plans of the British royals.
On the one hand, Princess Kate Middleton will be leading the famous carol concert.
On the other hand, Prince Harry is also preparing something special related to charitable causes.
Prince Harry’s Christmas plans
This year, Prince Harry is set to spread some Christmas cheer through Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity that provides support for young people who have lost a parent in the British Armed Forces.
According to People magazine, the Duke of Sussex has planned a video conference before Christmas to connect with members of Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
Harry has collaborated with this organization since 2017 and is its inaugural global ambassador.
On Nov. 21, the Daily Express reported that the call will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and as many members as possible are expected to participate.
“Prince Harry would like to jump on a call with as many of our members as possible to wish them all a Merry Christmas,” reads an email sent to Scotty’s members, according to the media outlet.
“He appreciates that the festive season can be hard for our members and wants them to know he is thinking of them,” the email added. “This is your chance to get to know the Duke loads better and find out what Christmas is like for a Prince!”
The email mentioned that during the video call, Prince Harry will greet members, answer some previously submitted questions, and “five lucky members will help run the session and interact directly with the Duke.”
It will be an endearing way to make Christmas special for those who need it most.
