Meghan Markle’s new cooking show, “With Love, Meghan,” is already making waves and proving to be a ratings hit on social media.
The Duchess of Sussex recently released the trailer for her lifestyle series, and it has already garnered millions of views, far surpassing her husband Prince Harry’s solo projects.
Trailer for Meghan’s cooking show is a hit
In just five days on YouTube on the official Netflix channel, the trailer has been viewed 1.2 million times, received 14,000 likes and generated more than 41,500 comments, though many of them were negative.
Many online observers compare the numbers garnered by the trailers for Polo and Heart of Invictus, both Prince Harry productions.
Polo, released in November, achieved 195,000 views and 1,400 likes, while 2023’s Heart of Invictus received 214,000 views and 3,100 likes.
The Sussexes forced to repeat the success
The new trailer for Meghan Markle’s cooking show is getting the good numbers that the couple’s Netflix original documentary trailer for the couple, Harry & Meghan.
The giant released three trailers for the docuseries, one garnered 7.7 million views, another had 3.4 million and a third trailer racked up 1 million views. Notably, these trailers have been online the longest.
Another point to note is that, on YouTube, ‘With Love, Meghan’ has outperformed the trailers Netflix has released in 2025.
The Sussexes need a ratings hit, as the three Netflix projects that followed *Harry & Meghan* did not attract large audiences.
While it’s too early to gauge what critical reception Meghan’s show will receive, early indicators suggest it will undoubtedly make a splash.
While the program has already been the subject of high-profile criticism, as is often the case with many of Harry and Meghan’s initiatives, there is some truth to the adage that all publicity is good publicity.
Meghan’s series aims to offer a fresh take on lifestyle shows, providing a glimpse into her celebrity friendships and a chance to get excited about food.
The trailer shows her sharing laughs with friends like Kaling and Spencer, as well as lesser-known close friends like her wedding day makeup artist, Daniel Martin.
The show premieres on Wednesday, January 15, on Netflix, giving fans their first opportunity to watch the episodes in full. No doubt, many of her regular critics will also be watching.
