Meghan Markle, made an appearance Thursday at Variety’s Power of Women event held in Los Angeles. There, Prince Harry’s wife was happy to be surrounded by Hollywood stars again.
While posing on the red carpet, Meghan talked about her future plans with journalist Angelique Jackson.
What did Meghan Markle tell Variety about her future plans?
In the interview with Variety, the Duchess of Sussex confirmed that she will be releasing new content that she has been secretly preparing.
“We have so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them. We’re just really proud of what we’re creating, and my husband is loving it too.”
Meghan said she was “thrilled” to be back in the entertainment industry, and “really proud” of the projects Archewell Productions had created so far.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made for Netflix the docuseries “Harry and Meghan” which came out in December 2022 and the documentary “Heart of Invictus” which premiered last August.
“I’m just really really proud of what we’re creating. My husband is loving it too which is really fun,” Meghan said.
Meghan stressed that what she is preparing with her husband is content that would make audiences “feel a sense of community.”
“I think the more we support each other it just amplifies the work, amplifies our community and I’m just thrilled to be back in it and to be able to sit in this room and be in such good company tonight.”
“I want to make things that make people feel… I was going to say ‘good,’ but it’s more than that, things that make people feel something, right? And feel a sense of community.”
Meghan also said she was baffled by the growing popularity of Suits, which has recently enjoyed a resurgence after being added to Netflix in the U.S. in July.
The Duchess told Variety that she had “no idea” what had sparked the show’s renewed success.
