The Oli Juste Wing, a newly refurbished kennel facility, was made possible by a generous donation from Meghan through her Archewell Foundation.
Meghan’s message, played to guests including actors Nigel Harman, Rula Lenska, Beatie Edney, and Laura Aikman, expressed her gratitude to the Mayhew team for bringing this dream to life.
“It was so important to find a way to celebrate Oli’s memory in a manner that he would have loved,” Meghan said in her message. “Mayhew is a beacon of hope for those in need and a shining example of what can be achieved when we work together.”
Meghan’s bond with Oli Juste ran deep, as they shared a profound commitment to animal welfare and a love for rescue dogs.
Oli and his fiance, Rob, even helped care for Meghan’s beagle, Guy, when she moved to the UK and the dog was recovering from an accident.
Through this heartfelt tribute, Meghan Markle has ensured that Oli Juste’s legacy will live on, improving the lives of countless animals and inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.
