Kate attended the game as the patron of the England Rugby Football Union, a role given to her by Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.
She took over this role after it was returned to the crown by Prince Harry following his departure from the monarchy.
At the game, Kate was alone in the stands. When the stadium cameras focused on her, the crowd erupted in cheers. Kate responded with a laugh and a wave.

Kate’s absence from public life since January had led to increased speculation before her March 22 announcement that she was undergoing cancer treatment.
In the announcement, made via a video message from Windsor Castle, Kate expressed her hope to return to public duties but emphasized the need to focus on her health.
“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space, and privacy while I complete my treatment,” she said. “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.”
