On September 18, the couple, composed of Princess Beatrice’s and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, received their first daughter. The girl was born a year and two months after the couple’s union held in July 2020 and that was the last royal wedding attended by Prince Philip of Edinburgh.
The little girl was born at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. She is the twelfth great-granddaughter of the Queen and the eleventh in line to the throne after Princess Beatrice. The daughter of the Duke of York decided to have a loving gesture with her grandmother the Queen and named the girl, Sienna Elizabeth, in her honor.
What does the name of Princess Beatrice’s daughter mean?
Sienna is a nod to her father’s Italian origin. The meaning is attributed to an ancient region of Tuscany called Siena, known as a tourist spot.

Both the parents and the grandparents and the great-grandmother are delighted with the arrival of the baby. On October 1, the proud father posted on his Instagram account an image of the impression of the baby’s feet where he confirmed the name of the little girl.
“Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us. Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget”. It said part of the message.
This is the first daughter of Beatriz and the second of Edoardo, who has a 5-year-old boy named Christopher Woolf product of his relationship with his ex-fiancée Dara Huang.
