Last week Prince Charles was on an official trip to Barbados, the son of Queen Elizabeth II attended on behalf of the monarchy to the event where the declaration of the island as an independent Republic was ratified and ceased to be part of the territories under “tutelage” of Her Majesty the Queen.

Several news networks, including CNN, were invited to cover the event and traveled to Bridgetown with the future King of England. It was this news network that revealed little known details of what it’s like to travel with the father of Princes William and Harry.

    What’s inside Prince Charles’ plane?

First of all, the plane of the Prince of Wales is an Airbus A330 RAF Voyager, owned by the United Kingdom with which the Queen’s son travels to different countries of the world to fulfill his official duties as a representative of the monarchy. This aircraft is jokingly known as the “Heir Force One”.

CNN assures that inside it does not boast the luxury that was expected since it has business type seats in the front and center sections, and normal economy class seats in the rear, “nothing out of the ordinary”.

Another curious detail is that on the plane there is no entertainment for passengers. That is; there are no screens on the back of the headrests and no way to watch any movie during the flight.

As for the food, they describe it as “boring” although with a somewhat better taste of the service offered by other commercial airlines. During the flight they served meat, fish and a vegetarian food option.
