While Princess Leonor sails the seas aboard the training ship Elcano, her younger sister, Princess Sofia, continues her academic journey in Wales.
Since early January, Sofia resumed her studies at Atlantic College, marking the start of a new term away from home.
Although she was unable to say goodbye to Leonor in Cadiz before she began her naval voyage, she shared a family picnic with her on January 6 at the home of her maternal grandfather, Jesus Ortiz.
The Infanta’s daily life in Wales remains largely private.
However, some details emerge through social media, where classmates and profiles linked to the school environment reveal aspects of the student routine shared by Sofia.
Her last stay in Spain was during the Christmas vacations, a period that allowed her to enjoy family time and strengthen her bond with Leonor.
However, the next time she returns home, at Easter, she will not coincide with her older sister.
When will Infanta Sofia return to Spain?
According to the Atlantic College academic calendar, Easter vacation begins on April 11. By then, Leonor will be sailing between Chile and Peru.
Sofia will enjoy a well-deserved rest until April 21, when she will have to return to her studies to face the final stretch of the course.
When will Infanta Sofia’s graduation take place?
The graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 24, although Leonor will not be able to attend due to her commitments in the Dominican Republic.
With the end of the academic year drawing ever closer, questions are being raised about the Infanta’s academic future.
It has not yet been announced whether she will follow in her sister’s footsteps in military training or if she will opt for another path.
What is certain is that, in the coming weeks, the Royal House is expected to clarify the plans that will mark the next stage in Sofia’s life.
