According to the royal biography ‘Finding Freedom’, the couple decided to go to the house of Meghan’s friends, Jessica and Ben Mulroney, in Canada, the night before The Sunday Express ran the story.
The book’s authors, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, said the couple made the decision “after an aide advised Harry to stay in a discreet location, where no one in the media would think of looking. The royal biography adds that it was not the first time that Harry and Meghan had stayed with the Mulroney and that”.
They often visited the couple’s home as it was a quiet and exclusive neighborhood where Harry’s safety was guaranteed.
Former Suits star Meghan met Jessica in 2011 when she started filming the American drama.
Ben and Jessica attended Harry and Meghan’s royal wedding in May 2018 and their children, twins Brian and John and their daughter Ivy, had starring roles as pages and flower girl.
