Meghan Markle may be planning to publish her own memoir, this speculation fueled by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s lucrative four-book deal with Penguin Random House.
So far, Meghan has published the children’s book The Bench and Prince Harry has written Spare.
Information has leaked that the third book will be a wellness guide written by the Sussexes.
There is speculation that the fourth project would be Meghan’s possible memoir.
Meghan Markle’s rumored memoir
Some royal observers believe that if Meghan considers publishing her life story, she will direct attention to her in-laws, such as Kate, William, Charles, and Camilla, by including them prominently.
Prince William bore the brunt of criticism in Harry’s memoir, Spare, indicating he could come up again.
However, one PR agent cautions that 2024 may be too soon, given the recent attacks.
“Timing is everything and 2024 wouldn’t be the right time for its release,” Lynn Carratt noted.
In addition, the expert assured that Meghan is likely to want to discuss personal details such as “her marriage to Harry” and her ties to the royals.
While the insights could be fascinating, opening old wounds again so soon could risk further ire as tensions ease post-Spare.
