The New York Post has labeled Harry as “the prince of regrets.”
And according to reports, Prince Harry is reportedly missing his native country and that he allegedly doesn’t see his friends anymore because they don’t like his wife, Meghan Markle.
Will Prince Harry return to the UK?
This weekend, royal expert Tom Quinn told the Mirror, that Harry longs to see his army and school friends again.
“Harry is increasingly bored and looking back across the Atlantic where most of his army and school friends still live and whom he never sees because they won’t visit him in the States because they find Meghan difficult,” Quinn said.
One of Harry’s lifelong friends is Hugh Grosvenor, who is Archie’s godfather.
Grosvenor was married in England last month, but Harry and Meghan did not attend the wedding.
The royal expert claimed the Sussexes were absent from the celebrations to avoid “disturbing everybody” at the party.
Harry’s estranged brother, Prince William, was one of the ushers at the wedding.
Harry was last in England in May for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
At the time, Quinn told the Mirror that Harry did not plan to see his friends because they “are a part of the old pre-Meghan world that Harry hates to revisit.”
Quinn also claimed that Harry’s friends feel betrayed because he wrote about his military service “in such an un-military way” in his controversial autobiography “Spare.”
In addition, the expert claimed that Harry’s friends don’t like Meghan and blame her for transforming Harry into what they call “Hippie Harry.”
For the royal expert, Harry’s transformation does not fit with Meghan’s expectations or relationships before.
“The truth is that Harry has reinvented himself in a way that just doesn’t work for his family or for friends from the past.”
Earlier this year, Harry renounced his British residency and declared the United States as his home in new documents, in which he indicated that his “new country/state” was “America.”
The move was backdated to June 29, 2023, the same day he and Meghan officially vacated Frogmore Cottage, leaving them without a U.K. residence in his name.
However, it was recently reported that Harry is looking for a new place to live across the pond.
King Charles’ former butler, Grant Harrold, told the Post that Harry has reportedly been looking at properties in his native country.
Meanwhile, Meghan reportedly feels “rejected” by the U.K. and is focused on making it big in Hollywood.
