Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton stole the show at the Commonwealth Day Service. The setting? None other than Westminster Abbey, the same place where they said “I do” back in April 2011.
The couple, along with King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other royals, celebrated this community of nations in style. Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester also joined the celebration.
But beyond the protocol and solemnity of the event, what really caught the eye was the connection between William and Kate.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, as captured by several cameras and social media accounts dedicated to royalty, shared a super tender moment. Laughter and knowing glances revealed the love they share.
With almost 14 years of marriage, the royal couple gave us a moment of pure connection. According to royal biographer Ingrid Seward, these kinds of gestures are more important than they seem.
She commented: “William must feel so fortunate that Kate has come through this that he wants to tell the world about that love. It shows the intimacy of them sharing that journey together.”
Seward even added, “They are able to express themselves in a way they would never have done before.”
This sweet and meaningful moment is a reminder of the strength and affection that binds this royal couple together.
