Despite the scandal surrounding the British royal family over Omid Scobie’s controversial book Endgame, the royals have not hidden and have come forward.
The book, controversial for its revelations, is also in the spotlight for a translation “error” that forced its withdrawal from Dutch bookstores.
The alleged error points to Charles as the member of the royal family who made racist comments about the skin of Archie, the son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Also, according to Piers Morgan, the Princess of Wales is accused of being the one who works the least and trying to look like Queen Elizabeth and being another racist in the royal family.
William and Kate’s response to Omid Scobie’s book
Despite these accusations, William and Kate dressed up to attend the Royal Variety Performance, accompanied by Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband Daniel Westling, who are visiting the UK.
As they arrived at the event, they were approached by reporters who asked for their opinion on the controversial text or Piers Morgan’s revelations.
But the couple chose not to answer reporters’ questions about Scobie’s book or Piers Morgan’s show.
The royal couple briefly held hands before walking down the red carpet, but made no comment on the matter.
Buckingham is expected to issue a statement addressing the serious allegations made in the book.
