Prince William has learned his lesson. The future king is preparing for his next overseas trip after being heavily criticized for not traveling to Australia to support the women’s football team in the World Cup final on 20 August, which was won by Spain.

Now it has been confirmed that William and his wife, Princess Kate Middleton, are planning to travel to France to attend the Rugby World Cup.

The Prince and Princess of Wales’ office at Kensington Palace has announced that Kate will attend the group stage match between England and Argentina in Marseille on 9 September and William will attend the Wales-Fiji match in Bordeaux on 10 September.

It is important to note that Kate is a patron of the Rugby Football Union, which governs the sport in England, while William is a long-standing patron of the Welsh Rugby Union.

This personal connection to both sports demonstrates the interest and passion they have in promoting and supporting the sport nationally and internationally.

William and Kate’s forthcoming overseas trip to the Rugby World Cup is a further demonstration of their commitment to sport and their role as ambassadors for the British Crown.

Their presence at these sporting events will be greeted with enthusiasm and admiration as their support provides a significant boost to the teams and the sporting world in general.

It will also serve to boost their popularity, which has been somewhat dented by their refusal to travel to Australia and then their closeness to Prince Andrew.
