It has been a year of significant changes for Prince William and, above all, for Kate Middleton.
The princess is currently undergoing treatment for cancer, a disease she was diagnosed with after undergoing abdominal surgery last January.
Since then, she has remained out of the public eye. Her last appearance was in December during the Christmas holidays.
However, on March 22, Kate announced in a video that she is battling cancer and is receiving treatment for the disease.
As a result, any recent photo or image of her quickly becomes a topic of conversation.
Recently, an unpublished image surfaced—a secret trip that William and Kate took to Wales during Easter 2023.
William and Kate’s trip to Wales
The owners of Duffryn Mawr Country House, where the couple stayed, shared this revelation via a Facebook post to mark the anniversary of their visit.
The post read: “It’s been 1 year since we welcomed William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, to Duffryn Mawr!” the bed and breakfast’s team captioned the post. “We were delighted to welcome William and Kate for a night here when they visited The Brecon Beacons. So kind and friendly, it was a pleasure to have them stay here.”
The attached images show the royal couple smiling alongside the establishment’s team.
Kate wore an elegant midi dress with a lace-up collar and a plaid print, paired with a long suit coat and suede over-the-knee boots.
Duffryn Mawr Country House, priced at just over $1,000 per night, is a country house that accommodates 16 people.
It offers seven bedrooms, a gym, a spa with a steam room and hot tub, and even a children’s room. Its location in the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales adds to its allure.
During their stay in Wales, Kate and William participated in training activities, including abseiling, medical support exercises, and a search dog rescue demonstration.
They also visited Dowlais Rugby Club to meet members of the local community and enjoyed a pizza, which they shared with the rescue teams at Dowlais.
