A little rain didn’t stop Zara Tindall from looking stylish and chatting with guests at the latest Buckingham Palace garden party.
Prince William invited his cousins Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Peter Phillips, and Zara to help him host the outdoor event on behalf of King Charles on May 21.
However, the rainy London weather meant they needed some extra accessories.
Zara Tindall’s style at the Garden Party
While many of the royals and guests used umbrellas to keep dry, Zara, 43, added a clever touch to her pink shoes.
She wore clear, protective heel covers to keep from sinking into the wet grass, allowing her to comfortably mingle with guests on the lawn.

Queen Elizabeth, who passed away in 2022, once said that the weather “can be a bit of a worry” when it comes to garden parties at the royal residences.
At the garden party, Zara matched perfectly with her cousins Princess Beatrice, 35, and Princess Eugenie, 34, in pink and white outfits.
Beatrice stood out in a bright pink dress with long sleeves and a white hat, while Eugenie wore a white dress with a pale pink headpiece.
Zara chose a white dress with pink buttons, along with a pink hat and heels.
The men, including Zara’s brother Peter Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall, looked sharp in top hats and suits.
The gathering of five of Queen Elizabeth’s eight grandchildren was a rare event. Only Prince William is a working royal, while Beatrice, Eugenie, Peter, and Zara have regular jobs and also support charities.
Missing from the party were the two youngest royal cousins: 20-year-old Lady Louise, who is studying at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and 16-year-old James, Earl of Wessex.
Zara’s appearance came shortly after her 43rd birthday on May 15.
Mike Tindall shared details about his wife’s low-key birthday on Good Morning Britain on May 17. He described the “lovely day,” starting with Zara, an Olympic silver medalist in equestrian, going for a “ride in the morning.”
“Then we went out for lunch and just hung out all day, and had a few friends over for dinner in the evening. It was a very, very nice day,” Mike, 45, said. “Probably why I had a quieter night last night because I might have had a few the night before.”
