Just six months after the death of Queen Elizabeth, Queen Camilla is once again facing death.

The Queen consort of England has suffered closely the death of her brother-in-law, Simon Elliot, who died in early March at the age of 82.

Sources told the Independent that Elliot was a man known for his quiet charisma.

“He was braver in his final months, his family and friends are devastated to lose a man whose middle name was loyalty.”

Who was Simon Elliot, Camilla’s brother-in-law who died?

Simon Elliot was married for 50 years to the Queen’s sister Annabel. Camilla’s relationship with her sister and brother-in-law was so close that the couple even traveled to Scotland on the honeymoon of the current British royalty.

Elliot was a Dorset businessman and landowner. Son of Air Chief Marshal Sir William Elliot and Rosemary Checellor, he had three children with Annabell: former Conservative Party chairman Ben Elliot, Alice and Catherine.

This Monday, March 20, a service was held in memory of the Queen’s brother-in-law. The service was held at Holy Trinity Church in Stourpaine. Charles and Camilla attended to pay tribute to their close relative. After the service, the mortal remains were taken in a funeral procession through the streets of this locality.

As an additional fact, it was precisely on the 50th birthday of Camilla’s sister where, for the first time, Charles and Camilla were captured together after the controversial separation with Princess Diana.
