The coronation of Charles, 74, and Camilla Parker-Bowles, 75, took place on Saturday, May 6, at Westminster Abbey. The days following the enthronement of the kings will be full of activities, both for the attendees and for the British people. In addition, the following Monday, May 8, has been declared a public holiday in the country.

Representatives of the Royal Houses of Spain, Holland, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Monaco, Jordan, Japan, Liechtenstein, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Bhutan, among others, attended the historic coronation, but there were a few who stood out from the rest.

Queen Letizia showed that this year her favorite color is pink. The Spanish consort attended the coronation wearing a suit in that tone and a Carolina Herrera handbag, natural raffia pamela, and Victoria Eugenia’s chaton earrings.
Maxima of Netherlands
Queen Maxima wore a model in organza with hand-embroidered flowers that have been a success. The design was made by her trusted dressmaker, Jan Taminiau, the same one who dressed her for her coronation.
Rania of Jordan
The long-sleeved yellow dress of the Hashemite sovereign is signed by Tamara Ralph, and the pill-box hat, too. Queen Rania’s look was a great success.
Lady Louise Windsor
The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh was one of the best-dressed attendees in a floral dress by Suzannah London, appropriate for both age and circumstances. The Jane Taylor hat, plain and simply perfect, completed the 19-year-old’s look.

The daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent and niece of Elizabeth II stunned in an outfit from Di’s Cruise 2023 collection inspired by Seville.
Victoria of Sweden
The heiress to the Swedish throne opted for blue and a pill-box headpiece that left all the limelight to the Bernadotte jewelry: a diamond chaton necklace and cameo brooch.
