William of Wales By Robert Marquez

Prince William talks about his wife Kate Middleton after her mysterious absence at the tribute to Constantine of Greece

Prince William breaks silence: What did he say about Kate?

Prince William stepped back into the public eye this Thursday for his first royal engagement after his absence at the church service of his godfather, Constantine of Greece.

The Prince of Wales visited the Western Marble Arch Synagogue in London, where he spoke with young ambassadors from the Holocaust Educational Trust about the troubling rise of antisemitism globally, and talked about his wife Kate Middleton.

William’s visit to the synagogue marked his first official event since attending a meeting at the British Red Cross on February 20th.

The prince has kept a relatively low profile in recent weeks as he supported Kate through her recovery from surgery.

While Kensington Palace has reassured that the Princess of Wales is progressing well, she is not expected to return to duties until after Easter.

During his discussion at the synagogue, William addressed his and Kate’s worries over the increase in antisemitic attitudes and attacks.

“Both Catherine and I are extremely concerned about the rise of antisemitism,” he stated. “I’m just so sorry that any of you have had to experience that. It has no place and it shouldn’t happen.”

The prince’s remarks come amid growing speculation over Kate’s whereabouts as she convalesces out of the public eye.

While Kensington Palace has provided occasional updates that the princess continues to do well, there have been no new photos released of Kate since late December.

This lack of information from the palace has fueled conspiracy theories about the health of one of the most beloved members of the British royal family, Kate Middleton.

Kate Middleton at Sandringham on Christmas Day
Kate Middleton’s last appearance was at Sandringham on Christmas Day 2023.

William’s appearance follows his recent statement condemning fighting in the Middle East and calling for a swift resolution to the conflict.

It also comes after the controversy of not attending the funeral in memory of his late godfather, King Constantine II of Greece, for undisclosed personal reasons.
