The separation between Infanta Cristina and Iñaki Urdangarin has brought out the family’s economic situation. The still married couple has four children who are still financially dependent on Princess Cristina who takes care of everything. This has been assured by the expert in the Spanish Royal Family, Pilar Eyre.

Miguel, on the other hand, lives in London where he studies Marine Sciences at an expensive university. Like the school where his sister Irene studies, the most expensive in Switzerland.

The economic income of Iñaki Urdangarin is very low for this reason, the Infanta Cristina has had to face all the expenses of her children in recent years.

According to information provided by the royal expert, Pilar Eyre, the sister of King Felipe VI holds a position of maximum responsibility in the Aga Khan Foundation, for that work the Infanta Cristina receives about 400,000 euros per year, a figure that allows her to pay for the maintenance of her four children.
