German businesswoman Corinna Larsen, also known as Corinna zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, is preparing a final lunge in her battle against the emeritus King Juan Carlos I. The woman who was the longtime mistress of the King of Spain will give unpublished details about their stormy relationship through a podcast.
The project, which promises to become a headache for the Spanish royal family, is called ‘Corinna and the King’, something simple but which undoubtedly encompasses everything that happened between them.
When is Corinna Larsen’s podcast premiering?
The podcast will have eight episodes and will reveal all aspects of their relationship. From how they met, details of their intimacy, the separation and then the alleged harassment of which Larsen accuses the king emeritus.
Of course, it does not fail to talk about the palace in El Pardo, place that became home for four years, from 2008 to 2012.
While the project tells the full story of the businesswoman’s experiences, actress and storyteller Mishel Prada will be in charge of giving voice to Larsen’s experiences.
The podcast has been released this Tuesday, November 1, but will be available next Monday, November 7, through all digital platforms.
Excerpts recount that the monarch “was very kind and welcoming.” “He would call me probably ten times a day and every day he would send me flowers and letters,” she reveals. However, he grew increasingly somber.
About the harassment she suffered, she revealed that she was threatened with an “accident like Princess Diana’s”.
“I wake up in the wee hours of the morning and feel that there is someone standing next to my bed in my own hotel room (…) If you don’t obey these instructions, you could die in a tunnel like Princess Diana,” she says.
Undoubtedly, this podcast has all the ingredients to make the Zarzuela Palace shake.
