The infanta Sofia is ready to start a new life in Wales, the daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia travels this Tuesday, August 28 to the United Kingdom where she will spend the next two years studying.
After the graduation of Princess Leonor, Sofia decided to follow in her sister’s footsteps and study at the United World Colleges of Wales.
UWC has many centers around the world. For example, this Friday, Princess Ariane of the Netherlands will begin her classes at UWC Adriatico, located in Trieste, Italy.

This Tuesday is the day of the arrival of the first-year students. The Infanta Sofia took a plane from Madrid airport to Heathrow, London airport, from where she will be transferred to the boarding school.
To commemorate this important moment in the Infanta’s life, Casa Real has shared several photos on its X profile.
When Princess Leonor left for Wales two years ago, the images that were disseminated were taken at the airport in Madrid.
This time the King and Queen have opted for more homey photos, specifically at the gates of Zarzuela.
These emotional photographs had a special guest: the family pet. It is a black fur dog named Jan, a Labrador breed.
To travel to Wales, the infanta has chosen a comfortable look, consisting of brown pants, a black crop top, a plaid shirt worn open, white sneakers from Reebook, and fun black socks with ghost drawings.
Queen Letizia wore a denim blazer that she combined with a white top, sports pants of the same color, with the hem folded, and sneakers.
For his part, King Felipe is wearing a gray shirt and pants, a blazer in a lighter tone, and navy blue sneakers from Yuccs.
The King and Queen of Spain are smiling and happy in the photographs before the new stage that their youngest daughter will live.
It should be noted that this would be the first time in almost 18 years that Felipe and Letizia are completely alone at the Zarzuela Palace.
It is not known if Sofia will be present at the Princess of Asturias Awards, scheduled for October 20.
In the case of the heiress, her presence is obligatory, as she is the honorary president of the foundation.
