Kate Middleton’s coronation dress
The Princess of Wales, who at some point will be the Queen of England, has opted for a very elegant design signed by Alexander McQueen, one of her favorite designers.
It is a garment made of ivory silk crepe with silver embroidery, representing the four nations of the United Kingdom, among other details. This look is in perfect harmony with that of Princess Charlotte, a sample that symbolizes the union of the family. Once again, her look has not left anyone indifferent as she has made a small tribute to Elizabeth II and Princess Diana with her jewelry.
Kate has chosen for the occasion earrings that belonged to her mother-in-law, Princess Diana. Specifically, she has opted for the pieces ‘Horseshoe and Laurel’, pearl, and diamond earrings.
Elizabeth II could not miss the coronation and Kate proudly wore one of the necklaces for which the mother of Charles III had a predilection. On the blue Royal Victorian Order mantle, the Princess of Wales has hung the festoon necklace of George VI. This jewel was made in 1950 for the then Princess Elizabeth and during her 70 years on the throne she wore it on numerous occasions.
Kate Middleton’s coronation headdress
At the request of Charles III and Camilla, the Princess of Wales did not wear a tiara, but she did wear a beautiful headdress.
Like many of the guests at the coronation, Kate completed her look with a headdress designed by Jess Collett for Alexander McQueen. This piece, which has attracted so many glances, is characterized by crystal ingots and silver embroidery. A unique piece that has made a difference.
