Security is a priority at the Military Academy in order to protect Princess Leonor’s privacy and prevent the leaking of photographs.
Since arriving on 17 August, the daughter of King Felipe and Queen Letizia has taken part in weapons training and high-intensity military exercises.
However, one of her classmates revealed on a Spanish television program the measures being taken to prevent images of the future queen from reaching the media.
Security measures to prevent leaks of photos of Leonor at the military academy
Among the measures taken to prevent the leaking of the photos is a ban on the use of mobile phones by the students who share the course with Princess Leonor.
They are only allowed to use them at certain times and in their rooms. The main purpose of this restriction is to prevent the leaking of compromising photographs.
In addition, Leonor is fully integrated into the Academy and her classmates. She has demonstrated her commitment and dedication to her military training.
Soon, on Tuesday 19 September, she will take part in the sabre presentation ceremony, which recognizes students who have completed the first weeks of training.
These security measures demonstrate the Military Academy’s commitment to protecting Princess Leonor’s privacy.
The aim is to ensure that her experience of military training, which will last three years, is safe and free from leaks of images that could compromise her integrity and that of the institution.
