On May 19, 2018 Prince Harry and Meghan Markle pronounced the ‘I do’ at Windsor Castle in front of thousands of guests and millions of people following the ceremony on television.
The love story between the son of King Charles and the former actress began in 2016 but it was not until June 2017 when the couple announced their engagement in the gardens of Kensington Palace.
Months before, when the relationship is made public, both begin to be pursued by the press, and from then on they would go on to occupy an important part of the daily headlines of the British media.
A pressure that grew as the years went by. Harry and Meghan wanted to be part of the monarchy, but from a slightly more reserved perspective, something that did not happen. The couple finally announced their resignation from The Firm, in January 2020.
Despite experiencing bad times within the institution, The Sussexes have always been very close and have shown much support for each other throughout these five years together.
