This week, the Daily Mail reported that one of the episodes of Meghan Markle’s cooking show was filmed on a huge cannabis farm.

When Meghan launched her new lifestyle brand last March 14, she did so through a website, where for now you can only join a waiting list.

She also launched an Instagram account that already has more than 600,000 followers.

On that profile, nine posts were published that gave shape to the American Rivera Orchard logo, but a video was also posted on Instagram stories.

That short promotional video, excited fans as Meghan was seen in a kitchen and in a garden.

Many fans of the Duchess of Sussex were hoping to get a glimpse of details at her Montecito mansion, which she shares with Prince Harry and their two children, Archie and Lilibet.

Hopes were dashed, however, after it was revealed that the project would be filmed elsewhere.

The Duchess of Sussex is currently filming her series with Netflix, which revolves around her new brand American Rivera Orchard.

This Meghan project in partnership with the streaming giant is said to focus on “the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship.”

However, the project has been under scrutiny, as one of the filming locations was rumored to be a 14-acre cannabis farm located in California.

This farm, owned by the Van Wingerdens, along with other nearby farms, are in a dispute with area residents, who complain of odors emanating from the cannabis farms.

They claim that the neighborhood has a strong “sewer” stench.

Where was Meghan’s cooking show filmed?

Faced with this controversy, Meghan Markle has wanted to deny the rumor and her team has confirmed to the Mirror that the information of filming on a cannabis farm is false.

“The filming location is not shot on a farm, but at a residence, and I can confirm that there are no cannabis plants anywhere near the filming location,” confirmed a source close to the Duchess of Sussex.

So, the filming on the cannabis farm is ruled out and there would remain only the location of Tom and Sherrie Cipolla’s Mansion which is valued at $ 5,000,000, according to the Daily Mail.

    Meghan Markle’s Strawberry Jam promotion

So far, Meghan kicked off the promotion of one of the products her new brand will offer.

The Duchess sent a jar of strawberry jam to 50 of her closest best friends, stars and influencers.

Such is the case of Kris Jenner, the mother of the Kardashian clan who shared on her Instagram statuses with her 52.4 million followers the basket sent by Meghan Markle.

Online observers have wanted to compare Meghan’s jam to King Charles’ jam.

Both have launched strawberry jams through their online platforms, leading to a commercial “rivalry.”

Richard Eden, a royal specialist, claims that Meghan’s marketing strategy has indirectly benefited the King’s jam offered at her Highgrove store.

The 340-gram Highgrove organic strawberry jam sold out quickly after the launch of Markle’s product.
