Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is celebrating her 43rd birthday.
Since she and Prince Harry resigned from their royal duties within the British monarchy, they have been at the center of some scandals due to the revelations they’ve made about the royal family.
Despite these challenges, Meghan and Harry have consistently demonstrated strength and unity during official outings and birthday celebrations.
This year, due to King Charles and Princess Kate Middleton’s illnesses, the celebration is expected to be more low-key.
Meghan Markle’s Birthday celebration
Meghan and Prince Harry plan to celebrate at their home in Montecito, California, with a simple outdoor barbecue hosted by Prince Harry.
The celebration will be intimate, including her mother and two young children, but without any members of the Windsor family in attendance.
Although Meghan maintains distance from the British royals due to past controversies, it’s evident that she and Harry have chosen a quieter life away from royal demands.
They’ve also embarked on joint projects, such as producing homemade jams that have been well-received among their California neighbors and friends.
On her entrepreneurial side, Meghan focuses on her online retail business called ‘American Riviera Orchard,’ where she offers homemade jams, butters, preserves, and other products.
Coinciding with her birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have addressed harmful internet content in an interview for CBS Sunday Morning.
Their Archewell Foundation, launched in 2020 after retiring from UK royal duties, aims to create a better and safer online world.
