On April 30, Miguel Urdangarin, the third son of Infanta Cristina, 57, and Iñaki Urdangarin, 55, celebrated his 21st birthday. Despite belonging to royalty and having a well-known family, he is considered one of the most discreet members.
Miguel Urdangarin y Borbón has kept a low profile throughout his life. Unlike his older brothers, Juan, 23, and Pablo, 22, Miguel has avoided media attention and has continued his education with total discretion in London, where he lives.

Born in 2002, he is a great lover of sports, a quality he inherited from his father. He enjoys sailing, cycling, surfing, downhill skiing, water skiing and is a great soccer fan.
Over the years, Miguel has become more independent, as have his older siblings, the only one who still lives with his mother is his younger sister, Irene, 17.
Despite keeping a low profile, he has been spotted occasionally in public visiting his mother in Geneva, where the Infanta Cristina currently resides. Although he is always seen with a serious countenance, he is said to be fun and joking and his character is quite similar to that of his cousin, the Infanta Sofia.
In the summer of 2022, he enjoyed a well-deserved vacation in Formentera with his father and brother Pablo. Then he was seen at the funeral of Constantine of Greece where he starred in a tender moment with his mother, the Infanta Cristina.
Miguel is currently studying Marine Sciences and although little is known about Miguel’s academic life, it is understood that he has maintained an excellent academic record in his program of studies.
For the time being, the young man continues to study and travel between London, Spain, and Geneva to be with his family as much as possible.
