The coronation of Charles III took place this Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey in front of 2000 guests and millions of television viewers around the world. The ceremony has rescued the prophecies of Nostradamus.
The famous French physician and astrologer who lived in the 16th century. He is known for his prophecies, which were published in a book called “Les Propheties” in 1555. Nostradamus’ predictions covered a wide range of topics, including world events, natural disasters, and the rise and fall of leaders.
Nostradamus’ prophecy about King Charles
A prophecy by Nostradamus reveals that King Charles would not last long on the throne. The seer predicted that King Charles III would abdicate for a mysterious monarch.
In 2006, Mario Reading (now deceased) published a book in which he reinterprets the prophetic writings left by Nostradamus almost five centuries ago, published The Mirror. Among them, there is a passage that today would have a strong relevance for the Royal Family.
“A man who never expected to become king would take the throne.” So says the 1555 quatrain that the late author and scholar of French medieval history suggested might be Prince Harry who would one day take the crown in place of his brother, Prince William.
Reading suggested that lingering public unrest over the divorce of Charles and Princess Diana would jeopardize his future reign.
These predictions have sparked much commentary mainly because the expert correctly predicted the year of Queen Elizabeth II’s death before suggesting there would be problems for the new king.
“The preamble is that Queen Elizabeth II will die, around 2022, at the age of around 96, five years younger,” he advanced.
And he detailed, “Prince Charles will be 74 in 2022, when he assumes the throne, but there are still lingering resentments that a certain proportion of the British population has against him, following his divorce from Diana, Princess of Wales.”
