It is already confirmed that Prince Harry will travel to Japan and Singapore for a charity polo tournament and a philanthropic summit.
Following recent U.S.-U.K. trips, Prince Harry is packing his bags again for official travel this August.
What will Prince Harry do in Singapore?
One of the key events on Prince Harry’s itinerary is the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup, which will be held at the Singapore Polo Club on August 12.
As a great polo fan, this tournament has a special significance for the Duke, who will be accompanied by his great friend, Argentine polo player Nacho Figueras, who will captain one of the participating teams.
Nacho shares a long friendship with Prince Harry, as they met through this sport in 2007.
The polo match raises essential funds for Sentebale, the organization Harry co-founded in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to help vulnerable children and young people in Lesotho and Botswana.
According to Harry, proceeds from this year’s Cup will go specifically to Sentebale’s “Clubs and Camps” programs, which provide psychosocial support to young people living with HIV/AIDS.

In a statement, Harry stressed the importance of this event to Sentebale’s work and expressed gratitude to partners such as ISPS Handa for their continued commitment to improving the lives of African youth.
Summit to promote sport for good in Tokyo
Harry and Figueras will also speak at the ISPS Sports Values Summit-Special Edition, which will be held in Tokyo on August 9. The event will bring together leaders from sport, business and philanthropy to discuss the power of sport for positive change.
Other planned speakers include Dr. Handa, founder of ISPS Handa, former rugby star Dan Carter and Invictus Games champion Steve James.
Will Meghan and her children join Harry?
It is not yet known whether Meghan, Archie and Lilibet will accompany Harry on the trip to Singapore and Tokyo. Last year, the Duke attended the Sentebale polo match held in Aspen, Colorado, alone.
Prince Harry’s trip to Singapore and Tokyo not only showcase his passion for polo but reveal his willingness to serve and use sport as a means of empowerment and bringing positive change to the lives of young people.
