Princess Leonor of Spain, who last August 26 returned to Wales to start a new International Baccalaureate course at UWC Atlantic College, is already clearer about which university career she will choose.
The future Queen of Spain, at 16 years old, seems to have chosen to follow in the footsteps of her father King Felipe and her grandfather, King Emeritus Juan Carlos.
What career will Princess Leonor study at the University?
According to a report in El País Semanal, the Princess of Asturias, after finishing high school, will receive military training in the three military academies and “will culminate sailing on the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano”, says the publication.
The same report adds that at the end he will study a career that will have “law as its backbone”.
There are no surprises in the destiny of the heiress since her father, King Felipe, after completing his high school studies in Canada, returned to his country and went through the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, the Naval Military School of Marin and the General Air Academy of San Javier.
After finishing his military training, Felipe VI began his law studies at the Autonomous University of Madrid, the same career of the emeritus king and now of his daughter. Nor is it a career alien to the monarchy since knowing exactly the laws and regulations is the duty of a king and in this case, of a queen.
