The British consort queen attended the first day of Ascot alongside King Charles, this horse racing event that brought together royalty and aristocrats in general.

For this first day, the queen wore a white dress, a custom design by the fashion house Dior for Camilla.
Specifically, it has caused a stir that Camilla has chosen a model from the French fashion house when this week it was commented on Meghan Markle’s possible work for that brand.
Although the news generated many headlines, finally a Dior spokesperson denied that hiring the Duchess of Sussex as their image was among their plans.
Camilla’s wardrobe has been interpreted by many as a way of marking territory against her political daughter-in-law.
“Hi dear, sorry to hear about Dior!!!” titled the TMZ portal with much irony alongside a photograph of Queen Camilla and the Duchess of Sussex.
Camilla complemented her controversial outfit with a brooch, a diamond jewel in the shape of a shell that was one of Queen Elizabeth II’s favorites for having belonged to her mother, the Queen Mother.
