What was Queen Letizia’s makeup mistake?
Everything in the look was going well until a detail in her makeup caught the eye. The queen, taking advantage of the elimination of the mask in public spaces, wanted to wear a different makeup and chose to wear a more striking shade of lipstick.
Although it is not common to see her with this kind of colors, the queen wore a coral lipstick that favored her, however, she did not notice that it stained her teeth.
Queen Letizia at the Cervantes Awards
To make up for the detail of her teeth, last April 22 the mother of Leonor and Sofia attended the Cervantes Awards ceremony and rescued a winter look.
The Queen took out of her closet a Carolina Herrera dress in dark blue that she has also worn on other occasions. It is a sober garment with long sleeves, round neck and embossed seams that run along part of the dress. To face the Madrid temperatures she wore her cape designed by the Venezuelan in the same color as the dress, with synthetic fur on the collar.
On her feet she wore Magrit’s impeccable blue pumps with a strap that crosses the instep. As for accessories, she opted for minimalism with small white gold earrings.
Her styling was impeccable, her hair loose with a middle parting and her makeup in neutral tones, very much in her style.
